RECEBIN LTDA ("recebin", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we process personal data when you use the recebin mobile app and this website, in particular for proximity payments between smartphones, P2P and P2B transfers, and Pix-funded wallet operations.
By using recebin, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
1. About the service
recebin lets individuals and businesses pay by bringing two compatible smartphones close together. Wallet balance can be added or moved using a Pix key registered by the user. recebin is a payment technology platform, not a bank or financial institution.
2. Data we collect
2.1 Account and profile
- Name and profile identifiers
- Email address
- Phone number (when provided or verified)
- Profile photo (optional)
- App preferences (language, notifications, etc.)
2.2 Payment and wallet data
- Pix key linked to the account (email or phone, as chosen)
- Wallet balance, amounts, dates, and status of payments and receipts
- Records required for reconciliation, fraud prevention, and support
Note: we do not store bank passwords, full card data, or internet banking credentials.
2.3 Proximity payment data
- Bluetooth (and related technologies) to detect nearby devices and run proximity payment sessions between smartphones
- Technical session identifiers for proximity flows (not necessarily GPS location)
2.4 Location
If you grant permission, we may collect approximate location for certain app features (e.g. residential or business complex context, where applicable). Proximity payments rely primarily on physical nearness via Bluetooth, not continuous GPS tracking for each transaction.
2.5 Technical and usage data
- Device model, OS, and app version
- Error, performance, and security logs
- Push notification tokens
- In-app interaction data
2.6 Camera
Camera access may be requested for specific features (including upcoming ones such as portal pay). It is not used to complete standard smartphone-to-smartphone proximity payments.
3. How we use your data
- Create and maintain your account
- Enable Pix top-ups and wallet movements
- Process and record proximity payments (P2P and P2B)
- Show transaction history
- Send notifications about payments, balance, and account security
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized use
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations
- Improve product stability and user experience
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share information with:
- Payment and Pix partners to execute transactions
- Infrastructure, authentication, hosting, and analytics providers
- Support and communications providers
- Public authorities when required by law
5. Retention
We keep data as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and protect recebin and users. After account deletion, personal data is deleted or anonymized except where retention is legally required.

7. Security
We apply technical and organizational safeguards. No system is completely secure; we will comply with applicable breach notification duties under Brazilian law when relevant.
8. Children
recebin is for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Your rights (Brazil – LGPD)
You may request, among others:
- Confirmation and access
- Correction of incomplete or outdated data
- Anonymization, blocking, or deletion where applicable
- Portability, when applicable
- Withdrawal of consent where processing is consent-based
